Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all,
May this be the year our God shows us great and mighty things. He promises, "Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3) His greatest desire for all is that we know Him personally, love Him and serve Him in ways beyond what we can see and sometimes understand at the time. It's called "walking by faith." If we will build our personal relationship with Him through prayer and the reading of His Word, He promises to direct our steps and lead us to what He has for us. May it be so in 2008. Lord, we want to know you; show us who you are. God bless all who read this and may it spur them on toward love for God who made us and for His Word and His way over our own. Marlene

Little Girl Come Out

To all women who feel like little girls living in the dark in adult bodies. Perhaps you have been like I was, too afraid to come out and be the woman God had called me to be. Because of past emotional, mental, or physical abuse some of us have found it very difficult to move forward. We so wanted to do something, but were too afraid to try. We may have tried in the past only to be knocked down and wondered if we could possibly try again. Our fear of authority figures as well as the fear of counselors, kept us from moving. We were told all the rules and did our best to keep them when all along they were man made rules and not ones God had for us.
I am now moving forward and challenging women to join me by revisiting their childlike faith, have fun as women and walk in freedom in practical ways. Won't you join me too. I am praying for all those women out there who feel or have felt like me. God bless. www.declaringhispraises.com Marlene
